Green Thumbs UP! Gardening Project
Wed, June 5th and/or Saturday, June 8th
Join us for a day of gardening and planting. We really could use some volunteers who can help us grow a beautiful garden to serve as a place of healing for the youth we serve. We also need donations of seeds and other materials.  

URGENT NEED

Licensed Plumber
Volunteer "labor" to expand our kitchen
Licensed Architect
Draw up the plans for our facility to submit to DeKalb County.
Fundraiser 
Assist us with creating an annual gala special event to raise critical funds for general operations and our capital campaign plans.

ONGOING

STREET OUTREACH
Help us distribute food packages, toiletries and emergency medical supplies to youth around metro Atlanta. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

RESIDENTIAL
For Adults Only 25 years or older.

Evening & Overnight volunteers 

Supervise the shelter while youth are asleep, and
attending to the their needs in the  morning. This position is
vital at YPM - without overnight volunteers
the shelter could not
operate!
Volunteers commit to taking at least one shift per
month.
Overnight: arriving at 11:00 pm and leaving at 9:00 am.
Evenings: arriving at 5 pm and leaving at 11:00 pm

Training is provided. Volunteers are able to sleep during the night and have free meals. 
Must be over 25 years of age and submit to a criminal background and sexual offender registry check. 
A great opportunity if you are interested in employment opportunities with us.
HIGH SCHOOL
We welcome DeKalb, Rockdale and
Newton County high school students to volunteer for their community service
hours and have a strong need for high school students to serve as members of our
Youth Council (meets quarterly).
