"We know the dropout rate is critical across the nation and in Georgia. However, I believe it is more beneficial for us to begin to focus on sharing the stories of local adults in our communities who have completed their education, work hard and enjoy a good life. The film is unique in that it gives inspirational stories of hope and options with key Black male icons we are all familiar with."

ABOUT YPM
|
A tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization
In every community, far too many young people are left alone to fend for themselves. Their time should be filled with educational, social and other fun activities! More importantly, all young people should know that someone cares about them and that, "Young People Matter!
Young People Matter (YPM) was founded in 2007 by a consortium of concerned metro Atlanta citizens. Our goal is to let the world know, and continue to remember, that "all" Young People Matter. We plan on becoming one of the largest youth development organizations in the nation by having an organization that is results and outcome driven, transforming our supporters into evangelists, treating other organizations as partners--not competitors, and respecting the ideas and values of the young people we serve. We believe by doing so, we will have the leverage to transform society and convert the dreams, hopes and aspirations of young people into reality.
You are a part of our journey...
welcome aboard!
